The Working Canine Association of Canada

The Working Canine Association of Canada or W.C.A.C. was incorporated under the Animal Pedigree Act (a Canadian federal statute) on 31 July 1997 with the approval of Agriculture Canada. W.C.A.C. is the only organisation in Canada authorised to keep pedigree records and issue Certificates of Identification for the Seppala Siberian Sleddog evolving breed.

(Any other organisations that pretend to register Seppala Siberian Sleddogs or issue "Certificates of Registration" or "Certificates of Pedigree" for Canadian-owned or Canadian-bred SSSDs, such as the "International Seppala Siberian Sleddog Club are operating illegally and open to heavy fines and penalties under Canadian livestock laws.)
