New England Sled Dog Club

 

Founded 5 November 1925 by Arthur Treadwell Walden, the New England Sled Dog Club is the oldest continually operating sled dog club in existence. A stunning array of past historic figures have belonged to it and/or raced under its auspices. Among them have been Leonhard Seppala, Elizabeth M. Ricker, Shorty Russick, Emil St. Goddard, Dick Moulton, Eva B. Seeley, Jean Bryar,Harry R. Wheeler, Col. Norman Vaughan, Lorna B. Demidoff, and a host of others.
