Monte Alban Kennels

Actually "Puckerbrush Kennels," Monte Alban was the breeding affix used by Lawrence L. Prado Jr. of Milton, New Hampshire, and later of Poland Spring, Maine. Larry started out with a red show Siberian, Monte Alban San Saba, and a leggy black and white pure Seppala from Bryar breeding, Monte Alban Xipe. Prado's research into early Siberian Husky breed history led finally to the acquisition of more stock of Seppala strain. He acquired Gyro of Sepsequel, Willi-Waw's Xiu of Vixen, and Willi-Waw's Bashfiel of Vixen. Although he may have bred a Seppala litter or two from his stock, nothing appears to have survived of his breeding in any known pure strain.
