International Seppala Association

Incorporated in the Yukon Territory in February 2005 under the Yukon Societies Act, the International Seppala Association (or I.S.A.) is a worldwide record-keeping and protective association for Seppala Siberian Sleddogs, Chinook Sled Dogs and (potentially) other historic legacy sleddog breeds. (In Canada its functions are pre-empted in the case of Seppala Siberian Sleddogs by the Working Canine Association of Canada with which it is linked by mutual recognition of stud book records and interlocking directorships.

I.S.A. maintains its own independent website, as well as an online searchable database for SSSDs and Chinooks. It directly undertakes the keeping of pedigree records for SSSDs owned and/or bred in countries outside of Canada.
