Hercules of Sepp-Alta, a Seppala Siberian Sleddog, was born 26 June 1982, sired by Ash of Markovo out of Alma of Sepp-Alta. "Hank," as he was called, was a key sire in the Markovo-Seppala continuation breeding of the 1990s; an AKC Siberian Husky (WF567640 (1-85)), he became one of the Parental Generation founders of the SSSD breed (WCAC #00002P). Bred by Douglas W. Willett, Hank was a fairly large dog at 55 pounds weight. His progeny had a distinctive "Hank look" and usually had affectionate, attractive personalities.
