Grizzly Valley, Yukon Territory

Grizzly Valley is an unincorporated hamlet located at approximately Mile 15 of the Klondike Highway in the Lake Laberge region of the Yukon Territory. It lies between the southern part of Lake Laberge and the Miners Range mountains. Grizzly Valley is home to the fourth historic Seppala Kennels and the geographic focus of the Seppala Siberian Sleddog Project. It derives its name from the occasional presence of numerous Grizzly Bears (Ursus arctos horribilis) in the area.
