Allan Gagnon
Allan Gagnon bred Seppala Siberians in Maniwaki, Quebec, from 1953 to 1961. His foundation stock, of Gatineau and Seppala bloodlines, came from J.D. McFaul who lived in the same town. His kennel was almost entirely a private and personal operation; he used his dogs as a freighting team. He sold a few dogs to Keith Bryar. The bitch Gagnon's Ruby was important to the Malamak bloodline of J. Malcolm McDougall. Two Gagnon females belonged to Verner Zoschke of Arnprior, Ontario, in the late 1960s. Gagnon bred six litters in all, most of them from stud dogs owned by McFaul.
