Frostfire Anisette was a dark blue-grey, blue-eyed 45-pound Siberian bitch, inbred on Maquois of Seppala, who became one of the Second Foundation dogs used in the Markovo rescue programme to save the Leonhard Seppala strain from impending extinction in the 1970s. Anisette was bred by H. Barber, an obscure breeder in Hudson, Quebec. Her sire was Malamak's Glacier, a Maquois of Seppala son; her dam was Malamak's Jaunty, a Maquois daughter out of Vixen of Seppala 4th, a sister to Ditko of Seppala. Her contribution to the Markovo rescue was the litter born 23 December 1973 sired by Vanka of Seppala 3rd, consisting of Markovo's Maraq, Marko of Markovo, Mia of Markovo, Mokka of Markovo and Minka of Markovo.
